APRIL 17 2011: Day No 108 : DREAMERS AND MOONLIGHT.

026

How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you were?  Satchel Paige.

I seriously have to find a different technique for my blogging. The GEM COLLECTION poetry and quotations require a more astute mind than I seem to possess this year.

A dreamer is one who can only find his way by moonlight, and his punishment is that he sees the dawn before the rest of the world.

Oscar Wilde.

A DREAMER IS ONE WHO CAN ONLY FIND HER WAY BY MOONLIGHT.

I guess I shall just stay with thoughts of the MOON and MOONLIGHT for the moment. 048Its just about full moon here at the moment. The EASTER MOON, whatever that one is called. I like the moonlit nights. I like them with all the other lights turned off and walking barefooted through the cottage on the cold tiles. I’m going out now into the cold and rain. Doing a meeting in Raleigh Hall and then checking to see whether the BBQ is on for the deaf folks at North Beach.  After that, we are doing a trip into Bellingen to get bagels and vegies and fruits, take a look at the Atelier and then choose birthday gift for Izzy from the Yellow Shed which is his favourite shop.

After that, I am coming home to sit on the e-Bench with you and tell you a bit about dreamers and the moonlight. Maybe we will work out something about seeing the dawn before the rest of the World.

And her punishment is that she sees the dawn before the rest of the world.

5.25 p.m. Okay. Back home. Now for a sitdown on the e-Bench and a Yaan.

I don’t think I will be seeing the moonrise tonight. Too much cloud. Too much rain. They say its full moon in Libra which suits me as a Libran.

MOON PHASES FOR 2011

APRIL FULL MOON 2011

This full moon is the one before Easter.

Easter and the holidays that are related to it are moveable feasts, in that they do not fall on a fixed date in the Gregorian or Julian calendars (both of which follow the cycle of the sun and the seasons). Instead, the date for Easter is determined on a lunisolar calendar similar to the Hebrew calendar. The First Council of Nicaea established the date of Easter as the first Sunday after the full moon (the Paschal Full Moon) following the northern hemisphere’s vernal equinox.

PASCHAL FULL MOON – that’s the name I was trying to remember earlier this week.

A dreamer is one who can only find her way by moonlight. Maybe I will see the dawn before the rest of this world of mine.
