ALTUCHER CONFIDENTIAL.

Tip No. 23 : Deliver value with every sentence.

THE YAAN.

http://thegemcollection.wordpress.com/2011/12/15/december-15-2011/

Taking a moment on the eBENCH tonight due to being a little fractious within. Its still cold for Summertime and in addition I’m still getting into disputations with all manner of authority figures. Fractious indeed. Altucher says to deliver VALUE WITH EVERY SENTENCE. Once I had a husband and years after we divorced, we were overlapping for reasons I cannot now recall, when he recommended that I cease my incessant babble. I rather think that he didn’t consider I was delivering value with every sentence.

Somewhere round that time, I was listening to my Mother who was also inclined to incessant chatter, and had the volume in my ears turned way down low. I mentioned it to a good friend of mine who looked at me shocked. “ Your Mother is a Storyteller”, she said.  That turned things around for me, so it did. I listened a little more carefully.

One word to the Wise – don’t underestimate the StoryTeller.

Its drawing near to Night. Its cold. Not the way I like it best but the fractiousness is easing away and the Yaaning is working as it does. Altucher is a clever man. That’s what I think. DELIVER VALUE WITH EVERY SENTENCE. Value. How very subtle that can be. My sentences might not glitter but that doesn’t mean that some of them are not Golden.

I ‘m having green pickled onions for dinner. I’m going back to work on my GEM COLLECTION. I’m not rejoining the fractious  world tonight but I shall post a couple of shots that I took today OUT IN THE BUSH. It has just been brought to my attention by a friend in the USA, that GONE BUSH might mean something different to me than what it does in other countries. It was as surprising as finding out that other countries didn’t have coloured and patterned toilet paper like we do. I have my favourite toilet paper at the moment. It says simply ( thereby truly delivering value with every sentence) SAIL AWAY. That’s what it says: SAIL AWAY. I have no idea why I find that a comfort – but I do.

Thanks for the Yaan. Back to the GEM COLLECTION now.

What daemon possessed me to make an annual  daily calendar that few but me read ?

Ah well. It starts my days and I have only 364 more entries to go for 2012.
