THE YAAN : Greetings , Beloveds all over the World. I am not going near the Personal, the Regretful or the Troubled today. I came across a mass of St Valentine’s Day stuff in the Trove this morning so I am going to go Historical instead. Out here in Australia, we tend to blame St Valentine’s Day on the Americans but my readings this morning show that it was a big thing here in the late 1800s and then again at periods in the 20th Century. That’s what I’m digging up today. The Historical Viewpoint. I just plain enjoy the art and the wee stories.I shall put the first image in and then take a siesta. Back in a while.
