WEEKLY PHOTO CHALLENGE : HAPPY. PART 1.

MADELINE’S DINOSAUR.

dinosaur maddy

I’ve used my Madeline’s dinosaur as placeholder while I take a look at the other bloggers. I work my posts through Windows Live Writer and haven’t yet found a way to use the photo galleries on it. It looks like I will be driven to using WordPress own unwieldy post format but first I shall take a look at what makes the other people happy. The Dinosaur makes me happy because it is my granddaughter’s winning entry in a competition for the Children’s Hospital and will be hung in a regional hospital. It brought her to Sydney for a visit and a couple of days of city life. Her Dad made sure she visited the Museum and met a reconstructed dinosaur at full scale.

  1. I love Madeline’s dinosaur. Is it tiles? It’s just the right Gondwanaland green.
Thank you very much for liking my single photo. I didn’t even attempt the gallery – one photo is just right. Like yours.

    1. I’m not sure whether or not its tiles. Now I have a gallery. I was fiddling with it and now its there where I actually didn’t want it. And unlabelled. Ah well.
I liked your image. It warmed my heart.

  2. The photo of your son and his daughter is the best! And the one of you looking at the mountains is good, too. I was in Bellingen and Coffs a few weeks ago on holidays. I love the sea but my husband loves mountains, and in Bellingen we were close to both. A special place.

    1. Ah. My son loves the mountains and I love the estuary. We are just waiting now for the weather to warm up a little. I didn’t enjoy setting up that gallery. Too unwieldy.
