21 NOVEMBER 2011 : DRINKING COFFEE

Tip No 7: Coffee.

AND AS FOR COFFEE.

BREAKFAST AT THE CAFÉ ON JOHNSTON IN ANNADALE.

THE YAAN.

I am not a coffee drinker so who knows what the coffee would do to my creativity. Now and then, I fancy a cup of coffee and I always regret it. I am simply not a coffee drinker. I do like drinking boiled ginger with an infuser and I rather like coffee lounges. I don’t like the taste of coffee and my liver likes it even less.

I have taken some time to really read some of the Blogs following yesterday’s Tip about reading a lot. I am very interested in the little differences and similarities in our everyday lives.  Like the Taiwanese Breakfast stalls and the German train. The White toilet paper of the U.S.A. and the pink loo paper of the U.K.

The breakfasts have truly caught my imagination. Brekkies like  COUNTRY MUSH.    Cass Ewings features Vegemite which is a big one for the Australian Fast Breaker.

A touch of humour. http://steviereynolds.com/2011/11/20/weekly-photo-challenge-breakfast/
I have also been looking at some older Blogs. See what you think. http://www.bigezbear.com/2008/02/weekly-photo-challenge-breakfast.html
Donuts en masse. A classy shot. http://backseatview.wordpress.com/2011/11/18/111811-weekly-photo-challenge-breakfast/
The beautiful plates and herbs. I like this one http://www.flickr.com/photos/gmunsey/5800537811/
and in Vietnam http://aartigarde.wordpress.com/2011/11/19/weekly-photo-challenge-breakfast/

I like to know what people hear and see and do in their everyday lives. The small simple things. What their wages are. The kind of residences they have. What the cars look like and the public transport. MIKE HARDISTY has a page from his island :  http://mikehardisty.wordpress.com/ and my friend MEZZA writes about everyday life in the same small Australian town as me. http://melonpops.wordpress.com/ . I like to see images of their shops and their schools and their hospitals. I wonder what songs they sing and how they heat and cool their houses.  Ellen Derek from Boston has told me many small things and Polly McCravey from New York State.

Best go hunting for some pics of my everyday life.

The Farmer’s cattle are moved from paddock to paddock for feeding. Just that one white tape  keeps them on track as they pass my Workers’ Cottage.

The third Saturday of each month, Bellingen has its Markets. About a 15 minute drive from here. With music.

That’s it for me for tonight. I had intended to take a good look at things and write some more but my life has taken another of its less than happy at home twists and I am dispirited again and inclined to bleed in the last line for the night.
