ALTUCHER CONFIDENTIAL

Tip No 6 :Read a lot.

THE YAAN.

I  read a bit. I don’t read at an academic or particularly intelligent level but quantity wise – I read a lot. I have a particular liking for English Detective Stories. I also like Marion Zimmer Bradley books about DARKOVER but not about Avalon.

I read a lot of Old Newspapers from our Australian newspapers online and also people’s blogs as well as books I stumble upon in the house. One thing I didn’t expect this week was to find the Breakfasts for the Photo Challenge interesting but they are. I am looking at the foods, the locations, the china and cutlery etc. Some of these pics aren’t anything mega special but the stories behind them are.  Specially for an untravelled person.

BREAKFASTS IN OTHER PLACES.

BREAKFAST seems to me to somehow be one of the most intimate of the challenges to date. How odd !

THE Neighbours coming for breakfast.

FRIZZTEXT posted about moo cows just a wee while ago.  We had a run of them today but they were not purple nor even lilac. The bull tends to veer towards my table as he passes and I stay pretty near the door because I can’t see how that white tape keeps them from a stampede but it does.

And now its late and I am very tired. It was a very hot day today and I did my meeting in the old Raleigh Hall  and talked longtime with people. Just before dark I took a swim at North beach Pool and now I am ready to sleep. Lullabying myself with this picture and this song .

The picture is mine. The song is Emma Donovan’s.

    1. These ones don’t but next door we have the largest dairy herd in Australia – all Friesians . The Milk Factory is just across the River. I would still like lilac. Good night to you from Australia.
